Project 12 Map and Locations

Open-world city RP collapses without map literacy. Project 12 drops you into a shared Roblox space by Cinnamon X (CinnamonSoftware) where police patrols and civilian hustles collide online. Released December 2, 2025, the city will gain and rearrange points of interest as updates land — including pushes tied to “1000 Likes = Update!”. This guide teaches how to learn locations, not a brittle list of names that might rename tomorrow.

Why landmarks beat street names

Your brain under chase stress remembers silhouettes: a tall tower, a bridge, a plaza fountain, a distinct industrial shed. Build a personal landmark set:

1. Spawn-adjacent anchor
2. Civic / department-feeling district (even if labels differ)
3. Commercial strip for jobs
4. Edge-of-map escape option
5. High-traffic intersection to avoid when carrying heat

Sector thinking for officers

From Become Police and Police Path:

• Divide the city into 3–4 mental sectors
• Own one sector per shift unless a call pulls you out
• Note where crimes repeat — that becomes your high-value patrol edge
• After arrests, return to sector instead of joyriding map-wide

Police Path Tier List favors officers who create coverage, not tourists.

Triangle thinking for money

From Make Money and Jobs Tier List:

• Job start → activity zone → turn-in/safe pocket
• Short triangles beat scenic tours
• Recalculate triangles when population density spikes (~1.78M visit scale means peaks get crowded)

Escape geography for runners

Pair with Arrests and Chases and Civilian / Criminal:

• Pre-clear two exits from your favorite crime pocket
• Avoid “pretty” dead ends
• Use brief line-of-sight breaks, then reassess
• Know which districts attract officer mains

Learning routine (one evening)

1. Walk or drive a slow perimeter
2. Stop at five landmarks; name them yourself
3. Run one job triangle
4. Run one patrol rectangle
5. Sketch on paper or notes app — yes, offline notes help
6. Next session, navigate using only your names

This beats scrolling unverified map posts.

Using in-game map UI (when present)

If Project 12 shows a map or markers:

• Open it while stopped (Controls)
• Compare icon meaning against what you see in world
• Do not trust outdated YouTube map videos — we are not attaching video IDs because none were validated for this wiki

Updates and urban change

After patches listed conceptually on Updates Hub:

• Revisit your five landmarks
• Check whether job triangles still close
• Note new props that become chase hazards

Social locations

Some spots become RP stages. Read the room. Parking-lot hangouts may be social, not free arrest farms — unless crime is openly happening. Links to communities: Links Hub · Discord & Group.

What not to memorize from strangers

• “Secret money glitch corners” that require scripts
• Coordinates from other games
• Code redemption shrines — codes belong in Codes Hub, and none are verified yet

Cross-purpose drills

Officer: start in sector A, respond to a simulated call in sector B, return without freeways-only tunnel vision. Civilian: complete a job while intentionally passing two landmarks you are trying to memorize. Criminal: escape toward landmark 4, then cool down with legal work.
